About
EMD Upholstery is owned and run by Erin Drefs Johnson. Back in 2011, Erin moved to Edmonton, Alberta to attend college for fashion design and apparel production, where she learned about design, pattern making and industrial sewing. In 2012, she took these skills and put them to use in an Upholstery shop in Edmonton, where she expanded her abilities in the field.
Erin moved back to her hometown of High Prairie in 2017 and continued her upholstery work in her basement. Needing more space, she had help refurbishing a Sea Can to run her upholstery shop out of. The 53’ can is attached to the office can for Flaman Rentals just east of High Prairie, along highway 2.
